The Newlywed Game: Wedding Details

Oh how i'm so glad i'm never planning another wedding! I originally wanted a small destination wedding in south texas, but all the venues were booked a year in advance, so we ended up doing the huge lubbock wedding! It was beautiful and so fun, so here are some of my favorite little details...
My dress: i was pretty easy going about the dress, i actually found 3 i liked, and picked the one that went best with the theme/venue of our wedding. it was champagne satin with an ivory lace overlay, and pearl beading.

I designed my own chandelier earrings to wear (which andrew gave me for Christmas before our wedding in april) and we(i) picked a dancing pearl necklace that he gave me on our wedding day!

My colors were (light)pink, (medium)pink, (hot)pink, and a splash of red. So here are my hot pink shoes! I ended up never getting my "something blue" so we found a blue sharpie and all my bridesmaids signed the bottom of my shoes, haha my sole!

All my beautiful bridesmaids wore simple black strapless cocktail dresses, and pearl jewelry, but they each carried a different bouquet of pink flowers, and the flowers all completely reflected their personalities, then my bouquet was an assortment of all theirs with feathers added. (i was all about feathers for our wedding)

When it came to the flower girl dress, I wanted PINK, and nothing else. I mean, come on... I cant wear pink, someone should!!! Isnt this dress absolutely whimsical? I loved it, she was such a doll that day! Instead of rose petals, she dropped light/hot pink feathers down the isle! Our guests also threw feathers for our grand exit, the manager of The Lubbock Club (where we had our wedding) said there were feathers all over that parking lot for a week, haha!

The guys all wore black suits, ivory shirts, and pink paisley ties. I even found Andrew some schnazzy black socks with a hot pink pinstripe, so he matched my shoes!
Our photographer took all the guys pictures in the parking garage, very manly!

I dont have any pictures of our centerpieces, and i think i only saw them once -- how crazy is the reception?? haha! anyway, these were our party favors for guests when they left the reception, candy bars & matches.
