I finally figured it out....

Thank you Jacquelyn! Ok now that I have finally figured this out...sorry for being technology challenged...I can post for the cakes and the music. My cake was large, white, and simple. It was good, but the groom's cake was the best cake I've EVER had...and I've had a lot of cake!! It was chocolate with fudge icing..yummmmmm! Jim did not really want a themed cake, so I went for simple. I like simple and fun.

As for the music, our first dance was to "Look At You, Girl" by Chris LeDeux. It is the sweetest song. I told Jim he was in charge of choosing our first dance song, and it was perfect! It is so Jim--which makes it even more special. Everyone should download it and listen to it!!! My daddy/daughter song was “Butterfly Kisses,” because my daddy used to sing it to me. The other music we had was fun, band music. We had a big band called Steve Wells Music, which I have added a picture of below. They were awesome. We (Baptists) danced all night long…at least till my feet hurt!

  1. How sad that when I pulled down our wedding album to scan the photos for this blog I had to clean off the 2 inches of dust on it!

I can honestly say I only had one bite of our wedding cake and I don't know if I tasted the groom's cake. I thought I would get to relish the taste of our wedding cake when we pulled it out of our freezer on our 1 yr. anniversary. All hopes were lost when Carl and I showed up to my parents' house and saw my younger brother and his 2 friends chowing down on it. It's funny now, but I was devastated at the time. I'm so glad I've chilled out as I've gotten older and Carl's glad too!
